2009 Annual meeting of the North East Beagle Gundog Federation /May 30th/2009/6:20 p.m. Meeting called to order by President Mr.Gary Slick. The minutes of the 2008 meeting were read by Secretary Mr. Albert B. West and approved . The treasures report for the year was given by Miss Donna Anderson and approved. President Slick publicly thanked the Lebanon County Beagle for accepting the trial on short notice and acknowledged their professionalism. At this time he recognized our sponsors for their continued support. The website had recently been updated and a thank you went out for a excellent job. A report was given by Mr. Robert Silva, Northeast Vice President on the judging situation in the North east at Championship trial and the reports from the associations on the judging lists. The Beagle Advisory Committee chairperson, Mr Gary Defoor gave his report.A motion was made for the North East to reject the combining of classes by sex and size. Motion carried unanimously. The Purina dog food company representative, Mr. Mike Lucetta was introduced and had a few kind words for the federation. He thanked us for choosing them for sponsor and complimented us on our continuing growth. Mr Lucetta got a round of applause from the body. At this point President Slick called for a recess to take care of a member club problem. 6:43 p.m. Meeting called back to order at 7:40 p.m. And president Slick appointed a committee to work on the selection process for 2011 AKC judging selection. Committee members were Mr. Jason Wiseman(New England) , Mr Robbie Kane (New York) and Mr. Ryan Becker(Pennsylvania) These people were to report back to president Slick on their suggestions for the 2010 meeting Akc judging selection process. Mr. John Gibble made a motion to Bac to prevent Brace clubs from having gundog trials. Motion passed. Nominations for BAC representative were Robert Silva,John Jarzinsky, John Gibble. Selection in that order. Judging vote for AKC national judges were, 1 R. Kane 2 Dr. A Woods 3 G. Keller 4K. Mcquen 5 R Harrington The election of officers for the year was held and all the officers remained the same with the following President Gary Slick/ V.P. R. Silva treas. D. Anderson Communication S. Breon Secretary A. West. Newly elected office Field Trial sec. R. Kane. A executive committee meeting followed the meeting and motion was made to adjourn, so moved.
