NEBGF Field Trial Rules

1. Active membership requires that a club must hold at least one NEBGF Qualifying Trial each calendar year. Only active member clubs may vote on Federation issues.
    
2. Only hounds that have placed first through NBQ in a NEBGF Qualifying Trial are qualified to participate in the annual NEBGF Championship Trial.
    
3. An NEBGF Qualifying Trial may be an AKC licensed trial, sanctioned all-age trial, or sanctioned derby trial. Qualifying trials may be run in conjunction with Association qualifying trials, but do not have to be.
    
4. NEBGF Qualifying Trials do not have to be scheduled with the Federation. NEBGF designation may be acquired by submitting the trial results and per capita to the Federation Treasurer.
    
5. The attached form may be used to report results, but is not required. Complete results submissions will include the type of trial, club name, trial date, names of placing hounds and their owners, number of entries in each class, and per capita payment of $0.50 per all age hound and $1.00 for derby hounds entered in the trial.
    
6. All qualifying trials must be run under AKC Rules and Procedures.
    
7. Results must be received by the Federation Treasurer within 30 days of the last day of the trial, except for derby results which must be received before midnight of the day preceding the derby championship trial. Send results and per capita to:
