Meeting Minutes from May 31, 2008 Meeting

- Meeting opened by President Gibble.
- TriTronics award given to Lycoming Beagle Club for 2007 highest per capita.
- Thank you letter read from Jim Katchko for allowing him to represent us at AKC Nationals as a judge.
- The officers were introduced by President Gibble along with the current directors.
- At this time President Gibble gave the state of the federation message and its goals.
- Treasurers report read by Treasurer, Donna Anderson; approved.
- Minutes of 2007 meeting read and approved by Secretary, Al West.
- BAC report given by John Gibble. The BAC delegates for approval for 2009 were Gary Slick, Gary Keller and Gary Defoor. It was noted we will be represented by a Gary.
- A presentation was given by Mike Lucetta of Purina asking to be our dog food sponsor for 2008. Motion was made and graciously accepted by body.
- A report of the AKC National Trial was given by President Gibble and he noted that the NEBGF was very well represented with hounds. Motion was made to send 3 marshals this year; so moved. Motion made and moved to send $250.00 to George Pirman for the junior handler program.
- Motion made to not use license trials as part of qualifying program; motion defeated.
- Motion to hold 2009 championship trial at Susquehanna was carried and accepted by SVBC.
- Motion to leave officers intact as previous. Gibble declined nomination. Election held; Gary Slick president, all other officers as 2008.
- Vote held for 2009 judges for AKC Natl; 5 high vote getters: Gary Slick, James Roush, J. McCquen, B. McNeilly, J. Jarzinski.
